475 three point disk?

I found this three point disk. I think it's a 475 based on web pictures but I'm not sure. The beam is solid 2.5" hot roll.

Is there a source for new disks for these things?
I'm borrowing three from an older trailer 3 disk that has the same five mounting holes. They have some life left in them but they are not as thick. They measure about .160 near the center whereas two of the ones that came on this plow are close to .250 near the center. Concavity is about 2.75.

Would this have come with 24 or 26 inch disks new?

They don't have an image on the parts website. Can you confirm that they have the five mounting holes?

I have a #475 three point disc plow but mine does not have the adjusting lever or guide wheel that yours has. Otherwise it looks similar from memory. Will take and post some pictures.

Yeah, I don't know what to make of the front wheel; if it's supposed to be a gauge wheel or what. It has a number of holes for height adjustment. All Deere parts.

The rear adjustment was froze but I managed to free it up without breaking anything.

The top disk part number I recognize from the ones I borrowed from the other plow. Internet search didn't yield much for that one.

Hmm, called dealer today and they are saying it's obsolete and NLA in their system.

You are correct on the front wheel on left side, it’s a depth gauge wheel. I like your disk plow. Would like to have one.

I bought it from a guy in Arkansas that used it to plow his strawberry patch.

I'm torn between leaving it as is and cleaning it up/painting it to put behind one of the restored tractors. It is heavy thing and would probably ask everything of the little 430's hydraulic system.

That's in great shape.
Looks like mine is definitely a 475.

The bolts for the disks have a tang and slot arrangement.

I've straightened the adjusting handle for the lower attaching bar. When whatever incident occurred to bend the handle, the rivet sheared off the spring pin housing and bent the comb as well. Fortunately none of the cast is broke aside from a missing tooth from the comb.
A flat head bolt should do fine in place of the rivet.

The lower hitch pins may have been replaced as they are welded on.
Are yours welded on or one piece with the cross bar?

I looked at the OM available from JD pubs and it may be a newer edition as it lists 1010 and 1020 tractors. For the 1010 it calls for 150 lbs front weight.
I fully understand your struggle to paint or not since you have nicely redone tractors. I’d have to leave it original. Just can’t duplicate 60 years of good care.
