478 GMC pistons

does anyone know if the diesels are flattop or dish pistons?

Never saw one apart but remember pictures in a service book, looked like chamber in top of piston, not flat. Engine was direct injected too with AB injectors. Early engines had rotory pumps while later had A size inline Bosch pumps.

the v-6 diesels were direct injected? i did not know this. if thats so, there probably is a dish thanks for the info. any idea where to get GMC v6 pistons?
