48 A Power-Trol quick disconnects?

What size are the pipe plugs on the right hand side of the power-trol? I want to remove them and put in two 90 degree elbows and quick disconnects.

My neighbor has a lift up disk I want to use with it. It only has one hose on the cylinder.

I know with using the side ports I will only have power up and not down but its alot cheaper than buying the correct plugs to go in place of the dummy plugs. Thanks for any help.

I have a 49 A and the pipe plugs are 3/4 --mike

If you are going to use a 2-way cylinder, put a filter on the un-used opening of at least wrap it good to keep dust and dirt out...!

Yeah I was going to do that. Hopefully ill come across the right power-trol plugs one of these days but this will work ok for now. I still gotta buy or make me a 3pt for this thing.

May find some at the BIG show in Portland, Ind. when that show is on too..
After-market is ok but the JD 3-point is handier..
Being able to extend the arms is great for hitching equipment..

Little to far for me, especially with todays fuel prices. I have some swap meets close to me coming up and I will be watching for some.

My pickup I keep in the barn is a '79 FORD Heavy 3/4 w/4 barrel 460 Auto...!
Hope to find an Over-drive to add in the drive-line someday...
Gets 12-14 empty and 6 with cap, trailer and 10,000lb...not bad..!

I have a 79 F150 with 302 bored out, 4 barrel, lumpy cam that gets about 16mpg with 3.00 gears my daily driver. I have a 73 F100 with 56,000 original miles I bought from original owner, short wheel base, auto-matic 302 and gets about 20mpg highway with 3.25 gears. Also have a 79 Bronco with 400 and 4 barrel and c6.

But to get back on subject. I found the right powertrol plugs on ebay and they were 150 bucks for two. Is that really the going price for those?

Which type do you need? I have a set of the shear washer style that I would sell cheaper than the ones you found on E bay

buddy of mine bought a b a couple years ago that had the dummy plugs except somebody drilled them and tapped the end made them like the correct plugs

I need the ones that are held in place by the lever and pins on the side, not the shear clip and nut.

Sounds "High" but original parts are drying-up some...
JD wanted $75 each for the regular non-remote plugs 6 years ago..
Sounds like what you are looking at are the good ones with a selector for rock-shaft and remote all in one..?
Always looked like a fella could drill the original Non-remote plugs for remote use and when no remote is needed, put a good set-screw in the narrow end to revert back to rock-shaft..
A little messy to pull the plugs, but that was a normal thing, to switch the plugs to go with the remote anyway..and..you could put Pioneer quick-couplers right on the power-trol plugs that way..
