4820 center torsion disc

So I blew my torsion disc on my snow blower on my mf1655. I was lucky enough to have a spare and l made a pattern from it and was gonna make one from 1/2 thick stall mat.Has anybody tried this or know where to get another

I don't know how well stall mat will hold up, but I have made a number of them for different applications from used conveyor belting of 3/8" to 1/2" thickness.

If the mat has thread/string in it why not try it, or a HD mudflap.

Somebody else also suggested a heavy duty mud flap.l was able to get back up and running with a spare l had.l got pattern from it and l,m gonna try the mud flap.thanks for your input on the matter.
