I have a 4850 with some dash issues.
When we got it the dash wasnt working properly, had it sent to Ag Express to repair. The side with the digital tach could be repaired, the otherside could not. Found one at a scrap yard, plugged it in and now i have more issues. The tach doesnt light up at all, the gauges on the left side work to a point... The needles for the voltage and the Fuel gauge move a little but go right back to resting. All however light up on the left side.
where im at now: The testing and reading ive done on forums and what little information deere provides and that i could squeeze out of technicians is that due to the HI beam light coming on when the key is turned is that i have issues with the Investigator II system?
Now is this something within the that module that I can replace or do I have to send that one out to be repaired as well?
any help is appreciated and if I wasnt clear (I blame it on my lack of knowedge with John deere equipment), I can give you my number and try to explain it further!
Thanks!
