488 Haybine

Anybody know where there's a place to get a used
spring that goes on this haybine. The big one on the
back, there's 4 of them back there. Parts man says
they are the same on most New Holland Haybines.

You can reuse the ones on there if they break. Just cut the broken coils off the anchor piece and just thread it back into whats left of the broken spring. You might have to adjust the tension a little differently but they will work.

I've broken two of them on my Hesston 1120. If you're in a jam,call Stamm. Stamm Equipment in Wayland Mi. They ship UPS daily,269 792 6204,ask for parts dept. They had them used for the Hesston both times,would imagine they would have the NH too.
