'49 8N QUIT

Yesterday, I posted that my 8N, after about 3 min. quit. Today, I cranked it an it started and ran fine for 1 min., then it quit. I could not get the bolt at the carb because it was somewhat rounded, and at 71 years, I didn"t feel like standing on my head to work on it. So I disconnected where the gas comes in. NO GAS! I hate to tell you the fix, but confession is good for the soul. I had only opened the gas one turn, as I thought that should be enough. When I opened it all the way --- GAS!
Thanks for your help guys!

Glad to hear it's fixed.

But, don't open it all the way. That's the reserve. Just three full turns is all you need. And, do not forget to turn it off when you put it up for the day; see tip # 9.
