Wanting to put together a good running mild G. I was thinking about a 6.675 power block 8.25 stroke and a flathead any cam or other suggestions would be helpful.

You will hear this many times but I have always been told for the little extra money you mine as well go to 9.25 to 9.5 on the stroke. At first I thought that 8-8.25 would be fine but everyone says that if you go through all that effort you mine as well make it big the first time. This is what I am doing at least.

thank you for the reply. i was wondering what this set up would do for tug pulling 100 feet. Im already working on a 9.25 x 7 f0r the transfer sled.I was just trying to make use of some parts I got.

Oh, I apologize, I did not realize you were doing tug pulling. I have no experience in that area, we don't have tug pulls around here :wink:
