49 LA Case

Taking axels out of tractor. Only have 1 1/2 of clearance between the
two axels. I've tried to wedge the two axles apart, with no luck.
Anybody ever done this before? Looks like I may have to put a pulling
jack on axle to get it out. Any help is apricated.

I normally pull them housing and all, that way you can replace that gasket. As far as how hard it is to pull out, it will go easy after the first 1 1/4" or so. Once the inner race gets completely over the splines, it will be free. The splines are smaller in diameter than where the bearing rides.
