General Tractor Rules
All tractors entering in any class in must comply with the following:
1) No Nitrous, Alcohol, or Propane assist will be allowed
2) 20.8-42 tire size limit. No altered tires or cut tires No duals.
3) Maximum drawbar height is 20 inches from ground. Minimum length of drawbar will be 20 inches from point of hook to center of rear axle. Hitching devices must be horizontal to ground and stationary in all directions. No hooking over drawbar support height. Hole of hitch must be at least 3 inches wide by 3.5 inches long. Track Officials must be able to hook sled chain from behind pan of sled, so all rear weights must be placed to allow this. NO ONE will be allowed to crawl under tractor to hook chain.
4) Any loss of ballast, fluid or parts other than from internal breakage will be grounds for disqualification while in motion.
5) No drivers under the age of 15 will be allowed to pull. Any driver under the age of 18 must have written permission by parent or legal guardian.
6) No weight bracket to exceed one foot in front of the furthermost point of tractor.
7) Participant may enter only one tractor per class. Participant may only drive one tractor per class.
8) All drivers must adhere to flag person at ALL times.
9) Drives must weigh at or under the specified weight for that class
10) Drivers must be seated at all times with at least one hand on the steering wheel at all times. Tractor must be operated in a safe manner at ALL times or will be disqualified.
11) If a tractor hits or crosses boundary marks, driver will be disqualified.
12) No “jerk” starting of sled all attempts must start with a tight sled chain
13) Only tractor and driver will be allowed within the boundary marks on track during pull attempt. Anyone else on the track during attempt will be grounds for disqualification.
14) Tractor has 3 minutes from time called to the sled to be hooked
15) No entries once class has started
16) No twisted clevises
17) Any driver wishing to file a protest can only protest a tractor in their class and the protestor’s tractor must be proven legal first. Any tractor protested or checked by an official found to not meet the criteria for a class will be disqualified from that class.
18) All tractors are subject to weigh-out and are subject to technical inspection before, during and/or after pull.
19) JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL!- NO EXCEPTIONS
Factory Farm Stock Rules 9,000, 11,000, 13,000
1) Pull is open to any diesel, or gas tractor which meets the following rules:
2) Each tractor must look standard for its year, make and model and appear out of the field
3) Must have working PTO
4) Must have three point hitch
5) Tractors may not exceed 2600 RPM –NO EXEPTIONS
6) Add on turbos will be permitted. The compressor housing inlet on the intake side of the turbo may be no larger than 2.3 inches (I.D)
7) No turbo slugs or sleeves allowed NO Bushings
8) No water injection allowed
9) Tractors in this category must also comply with all General Tractor Rules
10) All Rules will be strictly enforced!
11) No factory substitutions or replacement engines allowed.
12) If you use a clevis to pull from, the hitch will be measured at the drawbar or the highest hooking point.
13) Pressed Steel wheels are permitted
Hot Farm Rules 10,500, 12,500
1 Pull is open to any tractor which meets the following rules:
2 Tractors may not exceed 3000 RPM. No Exceptions
3 The compressor housing inlet on the intake side of turbo may be no larger than 2.75 inches (I.D)
4 Water injection is permitted (water only )
5 All tractors must run factory appearing injection pumps or an “A” Pump – NO P series pumps in the 10,500 Hot Farm Class
6 Any tractor that came out of the factory with an engine that is 466 cubic inches or less may pull in the 10,500 class. Any tractor that came out of the factory with an engine greater than 466 cubic inches will be permitted to pull in the 12,500 class only. 10,500 class tractors may move up to the 12,500 class.
7 No cubic inch limit for the 12,500 class, P-Pumps allowed only in 12,500 Hot Farm Class
8 Tractors must be equipped with an emergency breakaway kill switch on back of tractor.
Diesel Trucks
1. All trucks entering any class other than Open shall utilize a single turbocharger.
2. Daily Driven trucks must utilize OEM turbocharger. 2.6 inch trucks are not allowed to downsize the compressor housing with bushings or slugs, turbo to be checked with a 2.65 inch plug. 3 inch trucks may use slugs or bushings to downsize the compressor housing ahead of the wheel but, must meet the 3 inch I.D. at least ¾ inch in front of the wheel along the bore. A stock MWE groove is allowed. No MWE groove will be allowed that is greater than ¼ inch. All provisions for air entering other than the bore or MWE groove are prohibited. Adapter plates are allowed except for the Daily Driven Class.
3. All computer chips and boxes are permitted.
4. No Nitrous, Propane or CNG
5. Water Injection is allowed on 3 inch trucks only.
6. There will be under hood inspections
7. Rear suspension may be blocked. Blocks must be easily removed. NO WELDED REAR SUSPENSION.
8. Air bags permitted, must have only one airline running to them and line must be capped off, no air tanks, compressors or in cab controls.
9. Except for the Daily Driven Class front hanging weights are not to exceed 60 inches forward of the center of the front axle. This will be measured from the center of the front wheel. Weights must be mounted as to allow for the crossing of the scales without the weights hitting the scales.
10. No weights in the cab of the truck.
11. Factory or commercially distributed aftermarket hitch. Must be horizontal to the ground and stationary in all directions. Height of hook point shall not exceed 26 inches from ground. Minimum 3 ½ diameter for sled hook (NO UNDERBED PULLING HITCHES).
12. Hook point must be past the rear of bed.
13. NO hitches with a chains holding to a gooseneck ball or other device in truck bed.
14. NO weight transfer hitches.
15. No chains, studs or spikes, ECT.
16. DOT Street legal tires only.
17. Engine must have came stock from the factory in a 1-ton or less pick-up truck. Engine does not have to match body(i.e. Cummins engine in a Chevy or Ford)
18. Drive train must be OEM from 1-ton or less pick-up(No Drop Boxes or Reversers)
19. Rear axle bolts must be covered by center cap or shield.
20. Drivers must wear seatbelt & helmets are recommended.
21. IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED THAT ALL TRUCKS HAVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT (FUEL SHUT OFFS, KILL SWITCHES, SCATTER BLANKETS FIRE EXTIGUSHER, DRIVELINE LOOPS, ECT.)
Work Stock Diesel Trucks
1. Factory Turbo only
2. No hanging of front weights
3. Engine must match the make and model of the truck
6,200 # Stock II 4x4 Trucks will use NKTPA Rules
 
You say Salt River Rules for the 6,000 Farm. Are you going by Salt River 6,000 Pure Stock or 6,000 Farm Stock?
 
Thanks for the reply. That leaves me out though. Hope you have a good turnout, I don't now of another pull this coming Saturday.
