#5 or #8 mower mount help, please.

Anybody have a quick-tach mount handy to measure?

I need the diameter of the mounting "pins", as shown in this version of a #5 mount. I'm almost certain the #8 mounts would be the same diameter.

I know the diameter is between 1-3/4" and 2".

They are the same diameter. 1 3/4" diameter

do you need the drawbar extension(s) to mount a 5/8/38 to a tractor.

I am turning down a length of 2" rod in the lathe to fit the mower's mounts, plus making the ends fit the "hooks" on an aftermarket 3-point quick-hitch to allow me to drag the old #5 around with the 3 point hitch on my 424 IH!
