I installed a tach that I had acquired on ebay on my 5 Star and it wouldn't work. I hooked the cable up to my drill and it has to turn counterclockwise to work. I'm guessing the drive turns it clockwise. The above elbow was on it but was missing the end so I removed it. I'm guessing again that this was to reverse it to counterclockwise. Is that what it's for. Anybody have a complete one for sell? Welters didn't have one. Thanks, Dan

Those drives are a nitemare. I bought a couple and tried to make one out of three-no luck.I bought a new one from Ohda"s.I don"t know if Rob has any more.His # 815-379-2377.You may need a reverser drive.I think you can get one from Stewart-Warner.Rob has the info you need.

Yep I sold the only one I had to JS BOATS that came off M5 and and tac turns same direction and it wouldnt work.
