50 John Deere coil hook up

I have a 50 John Deere that I'm a little puzzled on. I'm putting in a new switch and I can't figure out where the coil wires attach. This is a positive ground unit. The tractor hasn't run since last fall, and putting in the new switch it's a screw different than the one I'm taking out. The old switch is wore. I've looked for diagrams, but they don't indicate where the wires fasten to. They are marked TL FL etc., but even the manuals I've looked at don't explain what these terms are. I've removed one wire at a time to move to new switch, but the coil wire is stranded. I have no spark with new points and condenser. If anyone could lend a hand, I'd be grateful. Thanks!

Take a look at the Lamps and Wiring diagram below.

Note the BLACK lead wire from the IGN terminal to the IGNITION RESISTOR.

Note the GREEN wire from the IGNITION RESISTOR to the NEGATIVE terminal on the coil.

Hope this helps.

Good question, sorry none of the great pics like Jim posts, but on a POS Ground tractor the coils small + terminal wires to the Distributor where it gets to (+) Ground when the points are closed.
