50 manual sterring box

i have a 50 with manual steering box it has a plug on the left side that is left sitting on the seat of the tractor . the question i have is what kind of lubrication goes in the box and how to check it and is their a drain on the box

Not sure if it has a drain. You can use 85-90. Also go to-- Agco Parts Book--click View as Guest-- 50 Harris Massey tractor Search-then go to steering and you can look at steering box.Web will show entire tractor. Its same as Massey's parts people uses.
