5000 dual power

(quoted from post at 04:21:24 05/07/21) No.
Some people will say yes, but you risk damaging the Dual Power.

Fordfarmer, why? Since without pressure it goes to power drive how could damage result?

You cannot pull start a dual power tractor because without the engine running theres no hydraulic pressure to apply the dual power clutches
Thats the same reason why the parking brake has to be applied to keep a dual powered tractor from rolling away on a grade

I tried doing a roll start on my 6610 with dual power, it was setting on a decent grade, I put the trans in high gear pushed the clutch in and released the brake, as the tractor rolled forward I popped the clutch out and nothing happened
