People assume the fan shroud problem is the shroud and forget about the fan being out of whack.
Take the radiator off and adjust your fan blades. Use a ruler and measure from some point on the engine to the front and back of each blade. Usually you'll find one out of whack.
Bend and/or twist the blade so they are all the same measurement.
If that doesn't fix it then take a grinder and grind about 1/16" off the ends of each blade.
Make Sure you take a file and dress the edges of the blade as they will be wicked sharp after grinding.
Any time I have the radiator off on a new to me Ford I always adjust the fan blades and have never had a "shroud problem".

Is it the shroud or is the radiator leaning, you can position the top of the radiator with the top hose moving in in or out on the radiators neck or up and down on the thermostat housing
Worked on my 6600 recently and had to pull the hose back about 1/2” from fully on the top neck to get the radiator straight with the fan, on some aftermarket hoses I’ve had to trim a little off
