Having problems with my power assist steering on my ‘66 SOS 5000. The day after I bush hogged my field I went out to do some more and immediately the tractor wouldn’t steer to the left at all. Steering right was just fine no problem. Lifted the front end with the FEL and it steered fine both ways, down again and still wouldn’t turn left but would right. Did some searching and found out about the adjustment bolts and tried to do that to see if it helped. Now it won’t steer right or left unless I have front end off the ground! I tried to adjust the bolts back to where they were to no avail. I think I may need to get new pivot pins since there is a LOT of play with them. Questions: Do any of you have some advice on adjusting those bolts? If I need to replace the pivot pins does anyone have a part number and do I need to take the whole cylinder out to do that?
