503 hay rake

Saw this en ebay this morning. Still CHEAP with 12 hours to go. I'd bid if it was within 100 miles of me, even though I already have 2.

I have to agree Allan.
Who was the fellow that bought that low houred 3000 in WI a month or two ago. That tractor had around 1K hours on it IIRC but was far more pristine than this one.

503 IS a good match behind a 3000. I used one of the 3000's I had (diesel, 8-speed) with one of my 503's. Used a whole 3 quarts of fuel per hour.
I'd also doubt the hours on that machine...but at that price, you could still afford to haul it or have it hauled!

Friend of mine had one, and was tickled to find someone to buy it so he could buy my NH 57, so I could buy my Kuhn GA 300 GM, :lol: My friend and I ended up happy, not sure about the guy that bought the 503! :roll:

Hey Ultradog, That was me with that low houred 3000D (1200 hrs) last month. That 157 hr 3000 looks a little more used to be original hours. Also, the ad states "like new Firestone tires". My former FORD dealer friend told me that the Ford 2000 and 3000's switched from Goodyear/Firestone to Armstrong rears in approx. 1973. My 3000D is a 1974 and has Armstrongs. Any thoughts?
