504 farmall

[WD45 needs help]

Has anyone ever taken a motor out of a 504 and put it in a C farmall Try to build a pulling tractor Thanks

Yeah it can be done and there are several posts on here about it. The main challenge is the pilot bearing. In a C the bushing is in the crankshaft. In a 504 it is a bearing in the flywheel. You either have to machine the crankshaft the same a the C or do what we did and place the bushing in the flywheel.
