504 lp serial number

I have a 504 lp the serial number is 6400 s y.But there is also a F E on it, any idea what the F E is?

Maybe the F is for cotton picker mounting attachment[ high drum] and the and the E for 8,000 ft Altitude. That's what my book says, . But didn't know cotton was raised, on that high of a altitude.

The high altitude pistons were part of the factory L.P. package.

Yea I know their higher compression, because there's less BTU's in a gallon, but my 450 is just marked as a C!

Wouldn't happen to be two E instead of a F would it. If so that's equipped with a 4.5 GPM. hydraulic pump along with the 12 GPM. pump.

See I typed wrong. Meant to put two F instead of a E or FF. Don't think E was used on a 504. U for high altitude pistons for 504 if equipped. Think a different head used for LP and same pistons as a gas unless equipped for high altitude. T was low drum cotton picker mounting attachment low drum. Don't know if they had a high drum for a 504.
