51 John Deere A

I have located a John Deere A. The Carbs bad and looks like its goin to have to have motor work done to it. Ive always wanted to build a tractor to play with at the pulls. Nothing drastic, just something that can pull but still bring home and work in the fields. Does anybody have an idea of what to do to the A to add some more power to it but still be a usable tractor

I've got 620 pistons in a Unstyled A. Makes it bark..

you can also get high ratio rocker arms for the valves which acts like a cam but a much simpler install, easy on/off. around $100 if i remember right for modified stock ones otherwise 300 or so for aftermarket ones.
