I cant get power to the coil, have it at the key and regular. Stumped. Thanks in advance

o you have power at both side of the key switch when the switch is on? if you do and no voltage at the coil, check crimped wire terminals. voltage will be very low if the points are closed.

run a jumper wire from the terminal on the back of the key switch directly to the coil. If you have power now, you have a break somewhere in the tractors ignition
wiring, or a poor connection. If, after bypassing the wiring harness you still have no power at the coil, you have a bad ignition switch or a poor connection
where the battery connects to the switch.
