i drove the tractor i showed in the previous post, home about 7 miles ( wish id taken some ear plugs) it did real well except on this one long hill and i believe the clutch began to slip alittle was in 6th gear runnin flat out and about half way ou the hill she was luggin pretty good and it started to slip a lil i throttled her back alittle and it took hold again. all new to me. any adjustment possile or time for a new clutch?and how in volved is that

Danny its not hard to adjust the clutch. Remove clutch cover, Remove cotter pins from the T-Bolts and turn ONE COG one the nuts. Where the cotter pins go through the nut. Very simple, do all three bolts the same. Then try pushing in the clutch lever. IF it DONT snap in dont force it because you will bust the clutch dog that operates the clutch. Should get a "Feel" for the lever to estimate on how hard you have to push the lever in before you adjust.. Good Luck

No, you have to have the clutch pushed in to adjust the nuts. As soon as you feel the pressure when you pull back on the clutch then its good to go, put cotter pins back in and try...
