520 is it positive or negitive ground

i am working on a 1957 520 got the generator rebuilt can't get it tocharge i think that the batteries are hooked up positive ground i would like to know if its positive or negative ground

It came from the factory at POSITIVE GROUND and thats also how the ammeter and coil polarity were configured. Of course some got changed over the years, so be sure and POLARIZE THE GENNY BEFOREEEEEEEEEEEE start up.
