520 LP Help

Hey all,

Ive got a '58 520 LP tractor that for the life of me can not start. I have checked spark and that is good. I have checked air and that is also good, oil bath is at the correct level. I have propane in the tank and coming into the regulator/vaporizer but I have no fuel coming out the other end going into the carb. I am not very familiar with how propane engines work on the fuel side so any help would be appreciated. Back story, tractor was running fine idled down to stop came to a stop went to take off then died and would not start again so here it has sat for two years. I believe my problem to be the vaporizer but again I am not sure.

Have you put a gas pressure gauge on the output side of the vaporizer to check for correct pressure.

Have you checked to be sure fuel solenoid is receiving 12 volts when ign switch is in on position? I'd also suggest to change fuel filter(AF1399R & F1130R gasket).

I have not put a gauge on the output side but there is nothing coming out at all. I have checked and verified that that I have 12v going to the solenoid and it is working properly and is sending fuel to the converter

Are you attempting to start engine on vapor not liquid?
