Recently acquired a 520 with a bad water pump, I ordered a reman OEM pump to get the tractor going but would like to rebuild the original as a back-up. I soaked the retaining ring for a week and as feared the clip has broken off. Any suggestions on how to remove the ring? There is only about 1/8" left to grab and its is not moving.
