53 hyd pump reply

found one in asalvage yard in paige tx about 2hrS. NE OF wimberley. $163.13 was the cost. the old broke in half, pump gear housing and wobble shaft pump it was in 2 separatepart just haning. those 2 part are $200.oo alone.checked the cam teeth look goog. will install in the AM

Two piece tapered roller bearing - sometimes called a cone and cup??? The wobble shaft bearing cup (AKA race) in those piston pump gear housings is a bear to get out. No lip/cutout in the back for a punch or puller.

From the last post it seems pretty clear he is working on a piston pump. Lack of specificity in the original question does make it hard to formulate a meaningful answer. :roll:
