530 diesel timing

I can't find the timing marks for me to pull the Injector pump and time it. It's not behind the starter like I was told and I can't find any
obvious marks on the front of the motor.

If its a dry clutch tractor down on the bell housing at about 4 O clock you will find a hole, there is a timing pointer, actually a roll pin sticking across the hole to line up with the 8 degree line on the flywheel. you look up from underneath the Starter side of the tractor. The other poster is correct about the scribe lines in the pump lining up before the pump is removed. but if you want to verify correct timing accuracy you will use the flywheel marks before you snug the pump.

yep little about 3/8x1 plate with 2 slotted screws. if you remove punp get it in TIME before removing pump. hole is where posted above below starter
