Can these be made easily, I am in the process of replacing crankshaft seals and noticed one broke off just above the fitting on the pump. Relative had sediment bowl/carb issues and filled the crankcase with gas. Must have run it a bit since the crankcase is spotless other than the hard sludge in the bottom. Also noticed that I can hear bearing clearance on the rod bearings. The clutch side main looked good as did the rubber bushing for the main bearing. Not quite sure where the line goes to until I open it up more. thanks chris

Got crankshaft out today, thought I might get by with a compression fitting, while measuring the line, it felt funny, yup top end broke off too. Need to let the guy know, before I go taking the governor housing, cam, or lifter bracket to get at top fitting. haven't had a crank out on a 2 cyl. for years now two in a row.
