530 moco on 966

Looking at acquiring 530 moco with flail and plan to run in 966 with one set of remotes. Once I get it home I can swing it out and won’t need to use those remotes again so not too worried about that. Will I have plenty of hp to pull this in fescue and warm season grasses?

You will have more than enough. I run a 630 on same size tractors. Sounds like you need an owners manual to look at specifications.

Be aware that minimum power requirements in advertising literature is advertising.

You'll have enough power but depending on your hills and how heavy the hay is, you won't be able to mow in road gear like everyone thinks you should. Those flails take a lot of power. My neighbor runs a 925 flail conditioner his with a tired 1486. Same cut width if I'm not mistaken so roughly the same power requirement.

I wouldn't not do it (note the double-negative).
