531Head swap

Just wondering if a 531 head can be replaced by a 619 8630 head? Just trying to broaden our options when searching for a new head since 7520 and 6030's aren't the most plentiful in junkyards.

Don't sure, because the bore of the 619 is bigger than from a 531. Don't know how this works. Could cause less compression and even blowby. When it might fit make sure you have the correct studs to bolt the head. Also check it the valve cover fits. The 531 has a filterhousing at the end of the valvecover. A 619 has it in the middle. Hope this helps
