How much trouble to switch a 930CK from 540 to 1000 pto?

Mine is an early CK with the hand clutch six speed with the chain drive.

I don't think there is a option to change to 1000rpm on the 6 speed tractors.

Just have to go inside PTO housing and change shaft and gears. I have them in NY and I ship. 6076423293

There is an option for either. However it is a big job, and good luck trying to find the donor for the changeover. In addition to the changes in the PTO housing, you also must change the gears at the front of the transmission. Study the parts book for details.
