543 Massey Injection pump and Engine timing

I’ve got a 543 I need to remove the injector pump to have it rebuilt. How do you get the engine timed so I can pull the pump. This pump has the bolt to lock it in place and also has a key way in the shaft but gear does not have a key way slot. I’ve not found any timing marks on the flywheel or a place to pin the engine. I’ve got the timing cover removed to get to the pump bolts but other than some made marks on the timing gears haven’t seen anything there ether.

What engine is it
On the older ones you stuck a pin thru gear into pump then locked pump. loosen nut on injection pump first. Then make a little press to pop gear off pump I believe that was 1000 series Perkins if you need more info let me know can still get a hold of book and copy page for you
