I have some PIAA driving/fog lights that are sealed in a glass reflector, the bulb has failed & glass reflector is fine. The bulb can be removed by removing the white sealant/heat conductor from bulb to glass. The question what type of sealant/epoxy should be used for heat conduction. Yes, I know PIAA wants to sell complete sealed unit($25-50 ea) but @ price of a halogen bulb (less than $5) I would rather replace halogen bulb. Thanks

Do you already know that you can't touch halogen bulbs with your bare fingers? It leaves oil on them that makes them overheat and burn out very quickly. If you already knew that, it didn't waste much of you time to read it. If you didn't know that then it's useful information.
