550 auxilary valve problem

Went to use my 550 to disc the garden but it would not pick up the 8 ft. wheel disc. Fluid level ok three point works but it will not lift the disc with the cylinder. Hooked the disc to my 1600 and nothing wrong with cylinder. I think the o-rings between valve and hydraulic housing may be blown. Any ideas appreciated.

There is a relief valve inside the unit. I would suspect thats theres something behind the ball and seat. Remove it from the tractor, take it apart, clean everything and then replace the o-rings when you put it back on. Have you tried a load on the 3-point yet? All fluid runs through that valve. If you have no pressure for the aux, then you shouldn't have alot of pressure for the 3-point. Hope this helps, Matt
