550 gas starter

Winter has done-in my 550 gas starter. Is there a permanent magnet drive motor for this application. They are more compact and easier to install than original. I see there is diesel one available.

I put one of those starters off ebay on my gas 66 working good.Think it came from DB Electrical.

The 550 diesel starters are more common for some reason. Check out Maple Springs Farm or DB Electrical. Brother put one on his 1755 a few
years ago and remarked how much faster it turned over.
