I'm sure you guys can help me out. I was wondering what I should be running for spark plugs in my 550. I haven't gotten around to get a operators manual yet and the tractor has different kinds of plugs in it. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Autolite 386 is what I use in my 550 for several years now. My 550 manual says Champion D-16.

I run AC C-86 in all my Olivers that use that size plug. The 1600's the only one that doesn't.

would a champion D21 be too hot? I only use the tractor around the yard for light duty work. if so what AC would be the equivilant? Gap should be what?
Thanks guys for your replies!
Would a Super 66 take the same plug?

Mine had Champion D21 plugs in it when I got it, figured someone put them in just to be a little hotter in the old motor. Should be fine around the yard. Rebuilt mine now, so I run the correct plugs. Don't know about the Supper 66. Google spark plug conversion and charts will show you conversions, otherwise any auto store can. Have fun!

I am 50 miles south of the Twin Cities. Winter here yet too! Still about 5 in of snow on the ground.
Miserable calving weather for sure and after taking a fall on the ice and snow in the yard a over a month ago I am still on crutches and still can't put any weight on my leg.
Hopefully the weather and leg will both improve soon!
