550 power steering pump

[laoliver]

Does anyone know who rebuilds the generator driven power steering pumps?

[Albert Duroe]

The same pump was used on the 58 Chev car. Look there for info on rebuilding

"Hemmings Motor News", magazine has a number of
ads, for firms doing power steering repair, and
selling parts.Larger news stands, magazine sellers, such as "Barnes & Noble" sell "Hemmings"
in the automotive section..or you can ask, and they can get you one(about $5 or $6)Woodmans
super markets, in Wisconsin, have large magazine
stands and have "Hemmings", "The bible of the
Antique vehicle hobby"
