550 XUV engine ?

I like the looks of these 550 XUV Gators but haven t had a chance to get to the dealer yet. Anybody know what engine they are using ? It says it they have a 16 hp twin cyl. but I want to know if its a Kawasaki or not. Thanks

I was concerned that they might have went to a Briggs to cheapen them down like they did some of the zero turn mowers.They look nice but probably won t hold up like the other gators do. Thanks

As long as the Briggs engine has clean oil,clean fuel and clean air. It will outlast the chassis.
