I have often seen people talk about 55ABH plows. I have a manual that says its for 55A, 55B, and 55H three-bottom tractor plows. We have what I always called a 55H because it's hydraulic lift. I had always assumed that these were three different plows. Are they the same, or is 55ABH just referring to that style of plow? Can someone please clarify?

Good question as I am curious to. A co-worker and I just went and looked at the plow and he bought it. But it say"s right on the plow 55 ABH, two decals. And was wondering the same thing.

Actually it says "55A-B-H" meaning it is one of the three, a 55A or 55B, or 55H those dashes are significant. Just for the record a 55A is a 12 or 14 inch rice plow with clutch lift. A 55B is a 12, 14 or 16 inch "dry land" plow with clutch lift. And a 55H is a 55B but with hydraulic lift and depth control.
