560 clutch alignment tool

Allis Chalmers is the same as Ford. Can get a plastic one at parts store. NATPA should be able to get you one for a IH. But you can find a rod that will go in your pilot and then center clutch plate on it.

Thanks vics. Napa can get 1? Also is the pilot bearing in the flywheel or crank? Never split a 560 before but have other tractors.

Also vics I want to thank you for your advise and willingness to help new guy out! Seems like I can always count on you to shed some light on my questions. Thanks again!

I have replaced a number of clutches and have never had an alignment tool. I just put it together close, with just a very slight tightness on the bolts, then nudge it into alignment with a screwdriver.

Bring your clutch disc and pilot bearing to someone that has a lathe and have them turn out a piece of steel or aluminum that fits them both.
