560 Cockshutt Rear Diff Fluid question?

I've got 1960 560 Cockshutt. Drained the transmission, rear differential & PTO. Found where it says takes 7 1/2 gallons with the PTO, but the manual doesn't say
what weight oil to use? Any suggestions? Also had some water come out with the oil when draining too. Can I let it all drip dry or do I need to rinse the
housings out somehow before putting in new oil? Any help is appreciated.

The original spec. was Extreme Pressure 90 Weight Gear Oil for your COCKSHUTT 560 Tractor: trans, rear end and PTO. I use the good 80/90 green smelly gear oil. Some oil that is on the market is NOT green and does NOT smell like real gear oil...Open and inspect the oil (if you can) before purchase. There are three drain plugs..........and one side trans. level plug...under the floor tread and back from the clutch pedal. Put all the gear oil in the big plug on the left corner of the PTO housing........I use 3 gal. kerosene or diesel fuel to do my wash out by driving the tractor around using ALL gear positions.

Thanks Phil. Appreciate the help. Just now finally getting to put some of the parts on it I bought from you a few years ago.
