560 Diesel Quick hitch Conversion

I just bought a nice 560 diesel. The quick hitch on this tractor however is torn all to pieces and sprung. Instead of replacing the quick hitch , what are some good options for a heavy 3 pt adapter to completely replace it? Thanks

my 560 has a 3pt conversion on it. Someone identified it as a"cornhusker". I have a Worksaver 3 pt conversion on my SMTA and think it looks stronger than the Cornhusker. I believe ths Worksavermay still be in production and may be the best since Saginaw quit making hitches. Option is to find a used one somewhere. Both of the hitches I have have 2 hydraulic cylinders. The SMTA has double acting cylinders and you can put down pressure on an implement by moving a bolt on each side. The 560 has single acting cylinders so I put a spring on it to pull it down for hitching implements, it needed weight to go down and I got tired of staning on the arms while pushing the lever. I don't think any of the 3pt conversions have the convenience of the factory hitches as you can't move arms out to hook up implements. My560 hitch is category 2 while the Worksaver has a ball you can rotate for cat 1 or 2

They do make a adapter to switch the 2 point to a 3 point quick hitch, but the 2 point has to be totally functional to work ! If it's a non funtional 2pt you might have to remove it and put on a 3 point hitch.

If you are going to plow, then fix the fast hitch as it was designed for that. Either repair or get another. You won't be happy trying a 3 point plow. For all else a 3 point will be OK and you can get 3 pt equipment. Much harder to find 2 point.

Yes I have seen the work saver hitches and they look strong. I do not want to snap the prongs in for three point I want an actual 3 pt hitch. The fast hitch is completely totaled . Have you done heavy work with the worksaver hitch? Is the sway control etc good?

I have done quite a bit of heavy work with it. No problem on sway control. Aftermarket does not have the load and depth feature like factory so not as good with a plow though I have plowed with mine. The hitch is pretty stout. When I got it it was fastened to axle with only one set of bolts with bar in front of axle on eash side. Hitch was wide enough I put on another set. When I got it PO had removed the stock drawbar. you can use it with the Worksaver the only issue arrising if your 3 pt arms won't go down far enugh with drawbarin the way. I pull a baler and sometimes swather with that tractor. It was really easy to remove 3 pt arms to get them out of the way. I have a parts 560 that had the fast hitch with depth control valve but it too is pretty beat up and missing parts.
