560 diesel is building presssure in radiator, antifreeze is fomy and pushing it out the overflow, not over heating. I'm thinking head gasket any other thoughts? thanks

My 460 diesel was doing the same thing it ran a normal temperature once it did warm up I was lucky and was just the head gasket hopefully you will be lucky as well

I don't have a 560 but hope to someday. Out of curiosity where do the heads like to crack? Is it more of a problem on the earlier tractors or throughout production?

the 282 engine found in 560"s, 660"s, and early 706"s are prone to this problem along with head gaskets. they have to be cooled down with 15-20 min. of idling before shut down after working them. also working them to the max. does not help either. other wise they do last. I have seen a lot more head gaskets go than cracked heads.
