560 Fast Hitch Hydraulics

HELP!!

My 560D, equipped with a fast hitch is giving me trouble.

I use my 560 for builiding fence, and have a Shaver #10 driver on the front. In order to run the driver, I plug the supply line for the driver into the side mount hydraulics (cultivator). I tie down the lever for that spool when I am using the driver.

The problem is that when I am using the driver, the fast htich creeps up or down, and a LOT of oil starts to leak out of the fast hitch block in the tool box. It is not coming out of the hose seals or the pipes going to the hydraulic block, but out between the pieces of the block. I can replace the O rings, but how long will that last?

Do I have an issue in the hydraulic blocks under the dash?

It's been a long time since I was in front of a 560 set up like yours, but a few things that I remember:

Check to be sure that you have the control for single action/double action cylinder set for single action.

Where do you have the return fluid going back into the reservoir? Possibly where u have the return connected can't take the large volume of oil as fast/hard as it is coming back from the driver.

The one we had when I used it had a large return hose, that the dealer routed back into the reservoir thru the fill hole in the top of the platform. He (dealer) cut a piece of plate steel to match the pattern, brazed a pipe fitting into to connect the return hose.

As long as the return from the driver is dumping in the resivoir it doesn't matter if the hydraulic valve is set to single or double acting. I run my 12 inch Shaver on double acting valves with no problem at all. One hose to power the driver valve and the return to resivoir.

I run the return back to the plate where the belt pulley would be.

I have ran the driver with the selector set for either 1 or 2 way. The teledepth controller is working also. It seams like it is leaking from the spool I am using for the driver into the fast hitch.. does this make sense?

rob, I am not very familiar with the 60 series tractors, but I suspect it is just an O-ring in there somewhere. They do blow out every now and then. Dads 484 will make the lift jump a little when operating a post driver on it, but I have never had any problems with it leaking. I also run a driver on a 666 and 350 and have had no trouble with either of those.
