560 gear pattern

D stands for direct.

TA stands for Torque Amplifier

There should be a lever on the left edge of your platform with a squeeze handle. That's what this shift pattern is for. It is for all intents and purposes a "gear splitter" or "two speed powershift" which you can use when you lug down and need to shift to a slightly lower gear to pull a hill or through a tough spot in the field.

NEVER EVER EVER try to go down a hill with this lever in the rear position. It will not hold the tractor back. You will go flying down the hill in neutral. If you can maintain control of the tractor, you will be lucky if the TA doesn't come flying apart inside the tractor.
