560 Power Steering Valve Leaking

I have a leak on the power steering valve, it looks like there is a back plate on the valve that is leaking.
Anyone have any good ideas for removing the valve?
This tractor has a GB 880 workmaster loader which is probably going to make this harder to work on.

Here is a video I posted yesterday

I would get the manual since they are readily available.

You may want to remove the loader since the frame rail needs to come off.

Those lines also go up under the radiator so the leak could be up above too.

Yeah I was figuring I had to take off the loader, I'm just not really wanting to lol.

I don't know if you watched my video or not, but it looks like the oil is leaking out the end of the valve, it doesn't look like a line is leaking. I already put new O-rings in the fittings since some of the old ones where severely smashed. I also removed several of those steel lines and I didn't see any holes in any lines.
I will double check all the steel lines before I go any further.

However I don't see any oil on top of the front end, just on the back of the valve body.

Thanks for the info

One end of the valve is a round disc held in with snap ring, o ring behind it. Other end cap with
screws (allen head I think I remember) and o rings (one larger and two small ones) under it. If
there is enough room to get at end without taking valve off I would try that.

That's great!, I'll give it a try!.
It's definitely that round disk that's leaking, I just didn't know how it cam apart.

I'll keep you updated

If the o/rings are smashed then ya have the wrong thickness o/rings . Not all o/rings are the same and the ones that come in the O/ring KITS are usually to fat .

OK, that round plate (freeze plug) in the back of the valve body was definitely the issue, here is the video I posted about it last night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm3q-w1kI7I

I got it all patched up and it doesn't seem to be leaking, I was also happy because I was able to take off that valve and work on it on the bench instead of fiddling with it under the tractor.

It would do me a huge favor if you give the video a thumbs up and if you like my videos then consider subscribing, I post a new video every Tuesday and Friday on different machinery and other things that I work on.
