567 baler wrap

May be the wrong time of year for this. but need to know. My 567 baler will wrap the bale, cut the wrap, but does not tell you to eject the bale. The buzzer goes off, and have to cancel it, then dump the bale. Doing it this way, it does not count the bales. Hard to check switches as I am usually out there by myself. Wondering if maybe the wrap switch on the side of baler is not working correctly. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

My 1st guess is netwrap attachment brake pad isn't tight enough. Have you ever checked brake tension with a torque wrench? My mind is blank(oldtimers disease) on correct amount of tension at the moment but give me a little time it might come to me. I know brake spring should measure 22 mm.

I am thinking it could be the net wrap switch on the RH side under the cover for the net wrap actuator. The switch is activated by the paddle that is moved by the net wrap as it stretched/cut. Changing the switch clearance (tighter) is often the cure for your issue

Are you running Edge-to-Edge? If so, you need the spacers to keep the roll centered so the flipper detects the net wrap; otherwise the roll shifts to the left and the flipper does not move while wrapping and thus detects a "NO WRAP" condition.

I can envision how without spacers Edge-to-Edge can slide to one side or the other in compartment but fail to see how that will affect the net to give a "no wrap alarm". Even if net isn't centered it still when applied to bale should be over the knife/counterknife & activate the switch.
