While waiting for supplies for our house project I spend time on the 570 and 870. The 870 is finished so when time permits I have been getting closer to completing the 570. Lights, decals and fenders are what?s left. Rod.

I have to remember to turn the phone on these pics, the brakes work well, keeps it from sliding down, LOL.

Looks real good! I'm restoring a 610 Ag Crawler. A question for you, what fasteners did you use for the hood/grill/ fenders? Did you reuse the factory bolts? And if so, what do they look like? Could you snap a picture of them? (sideways would be fine!)
My project is missing all of those fasteners and I would like to at least keep correct style of fasteners. I have copies of the assembly pictures forwarded to me from a friend, but it's hard to tell from those pictures.

Starting with the b series they used plated truss head screws with slotted head. Some places stock a screw with a combination phillips, slot combined into one. No paint on the screws if you want to look factory.

The muffler is for a 580 ck, yes lower tone without the bark of a round one. I like it so much I am going to put one on the 430. Rod.

This tractor was cobbled up with miss match hardware. I got new ones that match factory stuff from the hardware store. Rod.

Thanks Rod.
This 610 I'm restoring is a 1958. So I'm not sure if plated or painted should be used.

Your going to look sharp on her Rod, just got to say, it really turned out nice

Fred, if you don't paint them now you can change your mind fairly easily later. If you do paint them, not so easy unless you want to buy new ones. IMHO they look much better unpainted. I put new galvanized ones on my 611B 'cuz I'm too cheap to spring for stainless.
