574 attachments vs size/power

Does a 574 have enough a$$ to run these attachments well? Not sure if that’s the right way to ask…

Define "well." Is the backhoe going to be as strong and fast as a Case 580M? Not hardly. 3pt backhoes are generally classified as "better than a shovel." A$$ really isn't relevant when it comes to 3pt backhoes, really, except for carting it around. Hydraulic output is what makes them strong and fast, and the 574 is a bit on the lean side when it comes to that if the backhoe runs off the tractor hydraulics. It'll dig a hole but it may be a little slow at it and it probably won't be able to break itself.

The loader has a "loose material" or "snow" bucket on it. You don't really want to grab a full scoop of wet dirt with it.

Is it ideal? No. Will it get a lot of work done? Sure.

That looks like a 2050 series A loader just like the one we have on our 574. With the internal pump it is slower than molasses in January for lifting . There was an external pump that went on the right side of the tractor for running backhoes and other high oil requiring attachments on them.It bolts into that round hole on the right side under the step and has a filter inline for it. the filter is big like about 18 inches long and 8-12 inches in diameter or close to those dimensions. IF it has a separate pump run on the PTO it should dig decently for most DY work. If you think you will go into business digging you need to find a mini excavator or a good TLB machine. The loader is a good heavy loader big weakness is the oval tube in the front between the lift arms it will crack out around it. We just welded it back in and added 4 flat plates laid on the top reaching almost to the center and welded them on with 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. 1/4 inch thick about 18-24 inches wide and about an inch or so from meeting in the middle. Has worked good over the years. IT has also been used and abused like any other loader has been.
